Terms

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms cover this website and the Halo waitlist. By joining the waitlist, you agree to them. They're short, we promise.

Who we are

Halo is run by Ioannis (John) Georgopoulos, an individual based in Greece (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@joinhaloapp.com.

The waitlist

  • Joining is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
  • You need to be at least 16 years old, and use an email address that's yours.
  • One signup per person. We may remove signups that look automated, fake or abusive.
  • Joining earlier doesn't guarantee earlier access. We may let people in in any order, for example by phone type or region.
  • You can leave at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.

The waitlist offer

When Halo launches, everyone on the waitlist gets their first month free when they sign up with the same email address they joined with. We'll explain how to claim it in the launch email. The offer is personal, can't be exchanged for cash, and applies once per person.

No guarantees

Halo is still being built. We plan to launch, but we can't promise a date, or that every feature shown on this site will be available at launch or in every country. Screens on this site show the app as it is being designed and may change.

Other companies' apps

WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Signal, LinkedIn, X, Bluesky and other names and logos on this site are trademarks of their owners. We use them only to show which apps Halo is designed to work with. Halo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

Using this site

Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break it, overload it, or sign other people up without their permission. The site's design, text and code belong to us.

Liability

The site and waitlist are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses arising from them. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law.

Your data

How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll email you about significant changes. These terms are governed by Greek law. If you live in another country, you keep any consumer protections your local law gives you, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
